Over 50 Artists from around the state of Ohio and beyond participated in a plein-air painting competition.  We could paint anywhere in Hamilton County, which includes Cincinnati, OH. 

We were to pick one of how many ever paintings we completed over the three days and submit for judging / awards as selected by Dawn Whitelaw, Master Artist American Impressionist Society

I was honored to receive an Award of Excellence for "Historic Findlay Market", 11 x 14, by juror and artist Michael Chesley Johnson. And most honoring was to receive the Artist Choice Award for this painting as selected by my peers. The painting sold on this same day, as someone said, this is the greatest honor when someone wants to own it!
