When in Starbucks ...
2020
Dupont Circle
Washington, DC
10 x 7 gouache
This painting was done from life in January of 2020 at this Dupont Circle Starbucks. In Washington DC, because of the physical planning, there are a number of what might be considered “Flat Iron” buildings in reference to the famous building on Broadway in NYC. This is because of the avenues, on diagonals, intersecting the orthogonal grid of the streets as per the L’Enfant Plan for the city. This Starbucks is one of those odd shaped spaces as it points towards the circle.

This painting is part of my inventory for the #ARTISTSUPPORTPLEDGE
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many artists around the world have found themselves without work, teaching, technical support, gallery work, exhibitions, and sales have disappeared. In an attempt to help alleviate some of this stress, @matthewburrowsstudio has instigated the #ARTISTSUPPORTPLEDGE
The concept is a simple one. You post images of your work to sell for no more than $200 (£200, €200, ¥20,000) each (not including shipping). Anyone can then buy the work. Everytime you reach $1,000 of sales, you pledge to buy another artist’s work for $200.
Welcome to my online gallery for purchasing paintings, thank you for visiting!
Each painting is an original work of art. Each painting will come signed. I hope you might find one that inspires and speaks to you, as they have all been done in such a way to me!
Note, other paintings on my website may be available and are just not in this particular gallery where you can add a painting(s) to a cart. I am keeping this gallery concise for a particular body of work. If you are interested in another piece, please do not hesitate to contact me. And please contact me with any other questions you might have.
The price includes shipping within the United States. I will ship international and email you with the cost. The price, unless noted otherwise, does not include a frame.
Enjoy!
